215 Tribe: CCC Youth Community
“Children of God…whom you shine as lights in the world…”
(Philippians 2:15)
We believe teenagers can be apprentices of Jesus. No matter what they are facing, Jesus can capture the youth's heart with awe and allegiance. Our heart at CCC is to see a youth (grades 6-12) community form where discipleship is viewed as an all of life pursuit.
Our Vision is to make Jesus preeminent in the lives of our youth by following Him together to be lights for Jesus. And we will accomplish this by Gathering, Growing, and Going.
Gathering
We gather together on Sunday Nights at 6pm-730pm at CCC.
Our Gatherings have a mixture of elements to help create community with Jesus and each other. A typical night is time to: hang, sing, learn, pray and play. The first three weeks of the month we have snacks in our cafe. The last Sunday of the month we gather at a restaurant in town to eat dinner, hang with each other, and invite a friend—on us! We also celebrate birthdays together the week of upcoming birthdays.
In most of our gatherings we sing to Jesus together, proclaiming who Jesus is to us and what He has done for us. We read, engage, and teach the scriptures --believing that learning to engage the scriptures for themselves is just as important as it being taught to them. Once a month, we have communion together to help us treasure individually what Jesus did for them. Every night we pray with and for each other. And most nights we end by playing a competitive game. Each of the elements of our gatherings is designed for the purpose of discipleship and becoming passionate apprentices of Jesus.
Growing
Faith in Jesus is something that continues to grow in all of life. Cultivating our youth’s faith is our main goal. We do this by our gatherings, but we also believe that one on one discipleship is a major part as well. As we pursue Jesus together, we also become known to each other, learning from our weaknesses and sharpening our strengths. If we desire to grow in our pursuit as apprentices of Jesus, gospel fluency must be central. The beauty of one on one discipleship is that each person grows at different times. Our family pastor has a heart and background for discipleship.
Another element of our growing will be retreating together twice a year (Winter and Summer) to get away to focus on Jesus and how His gospel changes everything.
Going
Cultivating our faith is best learned when our faith captures our hearts and propels our feet to action. We desire to see our youth living out their faith around those in their spheres and neighborhoods. However, before that happens, they need to see it and do it together. They need to see that the Holy Spirit desires to lead them to be more like Jesus everyday in their everyday lives. Our goal is to see our youth serve their church family with their gifts, talents, and passions, but also to have servant projects every three months where we serve our community together. We desire to see the 215 Tribe share their faith with their words and deeds. Everyone shares what they love. And we want our youth to love Jesus more than anything.

Servant Projects
Our goal is to serve together in our community every quarter or as the need comes up. These projects will range but all will be opportunities to be the hand and feet of Jesus to show our community the heart and mission of Jesus. Most of these will be on Saturdays and will go from 8am-12pm (lunch provided). These will be meaningful, impactful, and enjoyable. See CCC calendar for upcoming projects.
